Ladies Team

The St. Finbarr’s GFC ladies team has been in existence since 1994, after an exhibition game at the St. Patrick’s Day festival. Since then the ladies team has gone from strength to strength, our most recent success came in 2022 winning the WA League & Championship double. A super successful year, lets hope for the same for the 2023 season.

We compete in numerous other competitions outside of the league and championship each year, these include the Paddy’s Day Perth 7’s and Fr. Kelly Cup.

The ladies team train on Tuesdays & Thursdays in Henderson Oval, Jolimont at 7:00pm with games on Saturdays or Sundays in Tom Bateman Reserve, Canning Vale. We welcome players of all abilities to join our ladies team, whether your a complete beginner or if you have been playing all your life. Playing and getting involved with St. Finbarr’s ladies team is a great way to meet new people, especially if you are new to Perth. Not only is there an on field competitive edge to the club, there is also a great off field social element, and at the end of the day we all look out for each other.
